Most Leaders Miss These—And It’s Why Their Teams Quit Early

Greetings Leaders,

If you’re going to introduce a new company to your team, it needs to check a few important boxes. We’re not just talking about hype or nice branding.

I’m talking about real, long-term value. You’ve built trust with your people, and once you share something new, they’ll move fast—but only if they believe it’s worth it.

So before you even think about rolling out a new opportunity to your downline, make sure it has these five features:

Quality Products

People join network marketing to make money, not to build a personal shopping mall. So if the products don’t stand out, they’re going to lose interest fast, especially if recruiting doesn’t go the way they planned.

What keeps people around when they’re struggling to grow? Great products.

If someone’s using a product that’s truly helping them—whether it’s for their health, wealth, or peace of mind—they’ll stick around longer.

Even better? Some companies now offer products that actually help people make money without needing to recruit or sell at all. That’s huge.

Think about how powerful it is for someone to be earning—legally, of course (no Ponzi schemes)—from day one. That kind of setup boosts retention like crazy. Because let’s face it: when the money shows up, people stay.

Leveraged Income (and Income Isn’t the Only Thing that Needs Leveraging)

The beauty of network marketing is that it’s not all on your shoulders. But not all companies are created equal when it comes to leverage.

The best companies (and teams) have tools you can use right out of the gate—like pre-built sales funnels, lead capture pages, and automated follow-up systems.

When people can plug in and get going without having to become a tech wizard, they get results faster. That gives your team confidence. And confidence duplicates.

It’s all about leveraging systems.

Residual Income (and residual leads don’t hurt either)

This is the gold standard. You want to know that when someone makes a sale or brings in a customer, they’re going to get paid over and over again—not just once.

That’s how freedom is built.

But here’s the twist: the smartest teams go one step further. They teach how to generate residual leads too.

I’m talking about evergreen content—like YouTube videos and blog posts—that bring in leads 24/7.

When someone learns that skill, their business runs even while they sleep. That kind of leverage is a game-changer.

Imagine writing an article today and still picking up new leads from it 2 years later!

There’s nothing wrong with getting in the trenches, but a smart system also incorporates ways to attract people through evergreen content.

Upgradable Products

Here’s something most people overlook: a company with upgrade paths not only increases your commissions, it also gives your team more value.

When someone can start with what they can afford, get some results, and then choose to upgrade for better features or savings, everyone wins.

Bonus points if the company plays in multiple niches—like wellness, finance, travel, or tech. That way, people can grow into different areas based on their interests, without ever needing to jump ship.

High Payouts

A company should be paying out at least 70% of revenue back to the field even though it’s split over multiple levels.

Why?

Because when your team members can get in profit quickly, they’re way more likely to stay in the game and maintain that catchy enthusiasm.

Big payouts create momentum. They help cover membership costs and boost morale. Morale is everything in this business.

Now, if you can find a company that offers all five of these features, you’ve got something special on your hands.

But what if I told you there’s one company that checks every box and pays out up to 85%?

That kind of payout is almost unheard of in our space, but it’s real. I’ll show you exactly who it is.

Network Marketing Training For Your New Recruits – Ray Higdon

Greetings Leaders,

If you’re onboarding new reps in your network marketing business, do them a favor: have them watch this video by Ray Higdon before they send their first message.

Why? Because it tackles the two biggest pain points every beginner faces:

  1. They don’t know what to say
  2. They’re afraid of looking stupid

This training delivers direct, practical scripts for cold, warm, and even “burnt” markets—aka the people who’ve already said no to you 15 times. But it doesn’t stop at words. It also teaches your team how to carry themselves when prospecting, and why posture beats persuasion every time.

It introduces the 4 P’s, and why mindset affects your prospecting more than your compensation plan ever will.

Why This Matters for Your New Reps:

  • Builds confidence instantly with word-for-word outreach templates
  • Prepares them emotionally for rejection and how to move through it
  • Helps them avoid the trap of just posting and hoping

This video could cut your team’s learning curve in half. Share it with every new rep before they quit out of confusion or fear. It gives them clarity, confidence, and most importantly—a voice.

The video outlines the 4 core pillars of network marketing success:

  • Pipeline: How many people are they talking to? Posting isn’t prospecting.
  • Posture: Belief in their opportunity without needing approval from others.
  • Position: Don’t try to close someone who isn’t ready. Know where they are.
  • Perspective: They attract what they focus on; stay emotionally aligned.

Then Ray Higdon dives into scripts based on two major areas:

  • Marketing: People who reach out to you (from social media posts/ads/etc.)
  • Prospecting: You reaching out to people (cold, warm, burnt)

They learn exactly what to say depending on the type of lead. Most importantly, Ray Higdon emphasizes avoiding desperation, building rapport at the right time, and staying postured.

He ends with powerful advice on how to see follow-up as a service, not a nuisance.

This video is a fast-paced, no-nonsense training aimed at helping new and struggling network marketers overcome one of their biggest challenges: not knowing what to say. Ray Higdon walks them through the four foundational principles and ties them directly to real-world scripts for every type of prospect interaction.

The content is motivational, blunt, and actionable. Your team will walk away with language they can use today, as well as a mindset reset that reminds them why posture matters more than persuasion.

Here’s my unbiased opinion of video:

Pros:

  • Extremely practical with real scripts
  • Covers multiple scenarios (cold, warm, & burnt markets)
  • Addresses both mindset and skillset
  • Encourages high standards and clear energy management

Cons:

  • May feel too aggressive or “salesy” for soft-sellers
  • Requires confidence and thick skin, which many don’t have
  • Heavy emphasis on quantity of outreach, which can be scary for some

While the video is a powerhouse of strategy and motivation, the 3 Cons can be very intimidating for many new recruits.

Not everyone is ready to jump into direct outreach or handle frequent rejection. That’s why writing—especially blogging—can be such a powerful alternative. It’s a way to talk without talking.

They share their story, knowledge, and offer in a format that feels natural. They never hear the no’s directly. People say no by simply clicking away.

A single article can reach thousands of people over time. They’re planting seeds that grow while they focus on other income producing activities.

It’s a quiet but scalable way to build credibility, attract interest, and share messages—without constantly needing to put themselves out there in real time, not that there’s anything wrong with putting themselves out there.

Phone calls always have and always will get better engagement than writing, but it sure does feel good to mostly talk to people who’ve already been prequalified ahead of time.

If outreach feels like a mountain, writing can be the trail that leads around it.

The Hidden Bottleneck Slowing Down Network Marketing Leaders

The Hidden Bottleneck Slowing Down Network Marketing Leaders

Greetings Leaders,

If you’ve built a team in network marketing, you already know the real challenge isn’t getting started—it’s keeping momentum.

And one of the biggest bottlenecks I’ve seen (and felt) over the years is Cash flow.

It doesn’t matter how much volume you’re generating if the money takes weeks—or a full month—to show up. That delay doesn’t just affect you as the leader. It affects your entire downline.

Think about what happens when money is stuck in a 30-day payout cycle:

  • Ads don’t get funded while they’re still performing.
  • Travel to events gets pushed back—or skipped entirely.
  • Systems and tools that could be helping your team stay on the back burner.
  • New team members who were already struggling financially can’t pay their bills on time so they quit.

The longer the delay between effort and income, the harder it is to keep people engaged—and the harder it is for you to lead with speed.

For leaders with an established downline, the right payout structure can be a game changer. Ideally, it should:

  1. Provide daily income—so you can reinvest right away.
  2. Deliver weekly commissions—so there’s always predictable cash flow.
  3. Offer leadership bonuses—so you’re rewarded for growing others, not just yourself.
  4. Allow easy withdrawals—so your earnings are actually usable.

This isn’t about hype or overcomplication—it’s about building a business that moves as fast as you do.

What I’ve learned is that how fast you get paid matters almost as much as how much you earn.

When money is flowing into your account weekly (or DAILY), everything changes:

  • You can reinvest quicker in ads and tools.
  • You can support team members in real time.
  • You can plan for growth instead of reacting to delays.
  • And maybe most importantly—you feel the momentum building.

What really surprised me was how powerful the emotional shift can be.

Getting paid every day feels like winning whether the commissions are huge or still in the growth stage.

And when you’re winning, you WANT to do more. You become more.

That feeling multiplies through the team. It becomes culture. Energy. Momentum.
And once that flywheel starts spinning, it’s hard to stop.

A Word of Advice for Fellow Network Marketing Leaders

If you’re leading a growing team but still working with a 30-day payout cycle, it’s worth asking:

How much more could you accomplish if you got paid daily and weekly instead?

This isn’t about switching companies on a whim or chasing shiny objects. It’s about building with a structure that removes friction, builds belief, and supports real duplication.

The system I’m using now has solved the cash flow delays that used to hold everybody back.

I’d have been happy with weekly pay but they took it a step further and made some of our commissions eligible to be paid on a daily basis, which I love and I’m guessing you and your team will too.

If that’s you, just click here and I’ll show you exactly how this works.
